Scouting Units Serving the Greater Northridge, Springfield Area
Northridge is home to three Scouting America units:
Cub Scouts Pack 131 (boys and girls)
Troop 311 (boys)
Troop 113 (girls)
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts is for boys and girls, kindergarten to 5th grade. It is a program where youth develop the foundations for leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through fun activities involving parents and legal guardians. Ideally dens are organized by grade.
Scouting America Troop
The traditional Scouting program, Scouting America is where youth develop outdoor survival skills, self-confidence, and ethics through youth planned activities with increased attention to service, community engagement, and leadership. Youth aged 11 to 17 join a Troop and are part of a Patrol within that Troop.
